In the quietest corner of a dimly lit room, an illustrator known for his vivid imagination stumbled upon a mysterious sketchbook that bore the words, “BEWARE THE CREATURES FROM THE INK!” sprawled across it's worn cover. But still, it pulsed with an ominous energy that beckoned him in. Late one stormy night, unable to resist, he began to draw with the blackest inks, letting the fluid lines flow freely across the pages. From hands that once would sculpt sprawling landscapes and beautiful sights, now were birthing twisted beasts and black holes of ink that seem to stare back at you. As he sketched, his pen was twisting and swirling in the inky darkness. Then suddenly, a hulking figure with jagged teeth and shadowy tendrils erupted from the page, its growl reverberating through the room and filling the air with dread.
Panic surged as shadows spilled from the illustrations, coiling around the room like a tightening noose.
As the creature loomed over him, the illustrator gripped the sketchbook. It compelled him to create amidst the gaze of the encroaching shadows. Each stroke birthed nightmarish beasts, and slowly the ink began to seep into his skin. Soon, he was forever bound to the book, ceaselessly giving life to the sharpest teeth and the emptiest eyes. More and more ink began to cover his skin and soon, he was indistinguishable from the very shadows that loomed around the room.
Some say on stormy nights you can find him in the darkest corners of the very room you might be in,
still with the sketchbook... And the next creature might look... Just like you.
